Job description

A mid-sized Investment Bank, require a seasoned Program Manager, with Front Office regularly related experience to lead the execution of a selection of their key 2017 regulatory change initiatives.

The key aspect of this role will see you executing on significant business critical regulatory change programs, forecast strategy planning and trading desk remediation.

Reporting into the Regional Head of Change, this will see you mandated with a specific portfolio of regulatory drivers for 2017. You will have several direct reports and responsibility for the milestone management of each particular program, including but not exclusive too SEC rulings, Volcker, Dodd Frank etc.

When tackling regulatory change, many organizations have traditionally operated in reactive mode, only changing in response to regulatory orders, examination comments, or other types of intense regulatory pressure. However, this organization has recently started shifting towards a more proactive approach to regulatory strategy by establishing a stronger linkage to business strategy.

You will be tasked with helping to find ways to align regulatory strategy with business strategy, helping to achieve compliance while at the same time improving your overall business performance.

My client seeks an individual versed in high pressurised, intense and business critical situations.

You will be responsible for making sure this business area are better capitalised, so that they are no longer playing catch-up with regulation and market expectations.

You will have:

-Knowledge of Capital Markets

-Strong Business Management experience in banking

-Experience working in a capital markets function

-Proactive, pro-business, can-do attitude

-Experienced at operating in a globally / regionally and culturally dispersed teams

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

-Practical experience of major business transformation with project management experience

-Very strong analytical and presentation skills and ability to distil large quantities of information into key theme / issues

-Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability influence senior teams and interact at all levels of the organization

In summary, my client needs a former / current Management Consultant from a strategic management consulting firm with experience with implementing Front Office Regulatory Change Management assessments, exposure to Capital Markets and experience leading a team.
